Jeff Goins is the author of Wrecked: When a Broken World Slams Into Your Comfortable Life and now the author of his latest book The In-Between: Embracing the Tension Between Now and the Next Big Thing.
I had an opportunity to sit down with Jeff on a Google Hangout to talk about his newest book.
In the interview we cover:
- What this book is really about.
- Why he wrote the book.
- The in-between moment in his life that has had the greatest impact.
- What we can all do to reduce our frustration while we wait.
This is a really good book that challenges our thinking about achieving our individual goals and what is really important in that process.
In a time when we can have instant everything, the message of the book resonates with a deep need to savor our lives and enjoy the in-between moments as much or more than arriving at the destination.
You can read Jeff’s blog (one of the most popular blogs on the planet) and connect with him on Twitter and Facebook.
Right now you can also pre-order the book and get access to over $200 worth of free bonus items.
Question: Which of your in-between moments helped you to the grow the most and shaped who you are today?

Thanks for having me, Adam. You ask great questions.
Thanks for doing the interview Jeff. It was a ton of fun and I really like the message of the book. I think it will add value for a lot of people.
I appreciate that, Adam!
Great interview. It’s a very good premise for a book too. Most other books focus on the fastest way to reach the end goal. It seems like this is a good plan:
1st – read Jon Acuff’s book Start
2nd – read Jeff’s The Inbetween
3rd – read Finish This Book by Keri Smith
That about covers the whole process, right?
Hah! Indeed. 🙂
I’ll have to check out Finish This Book to complete the trifecta. It’s the only one I haven’t read that you mention Stephen.
This was fun to watch, Adam…well done. Jeff’s book is on my short list, I need to get it ordered to get the bonuses!
Thank you Tom. It was fun for me as well. I’m reading the book right now and it is very good. The bonuses are great as well…enjoy!
Thanks, Tom! Hope you like it.
Nice job Adam! I enjoyed this.
Thank you Jeff, I’m glad you’re enjoying it.
Jeff Goins is a great persuasive writer! Thanks for doing the interview!
Yes, Jeff is a very good writer. My pleasure.
